The Poem
My Dear Friends,
I cannot imagine
That I would be not there to share
Such a launch as this
Ah, my neighbors never would I ever miss
So grand an opportunity
To stand with you and reminisce
Through non-existent space and time
Shoulder yours to shoulder mine
We are one community
An inspiration ours to be
This day bravely setting sail
As those ahead will tell the tale
And we in turn shall stand with them
When they in their time take the helm
