The JLYC is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization of volunteers that support Valley of the Moon (Sonoma County) nonprofits and public entities, while building community through social engagement and fundraising efforts.

How did we get here
The idea was launched on the back of a napkin one night in 2018, by Co-Commodores Jim Burch and Ana Dominquez. They were brainstorming on how to host a benefit for local nonprofits and fire departments after the devastating 2017 fires.
While sitting at the bar in the Jack London Saloon, taking in their surroundings, considering Jack's own history with fire, sailing adventures and resilience, the Jack to Jack Race came into view.
What We Do
We are fun-loving group, but our mission is serious. Under the guise of good fun our goal is for a worthy cause; to raise funds that go right back into the Valley of the Moon community.
We are a member of the the Yachting Club of America, with access to over 600 yacht clubs throughout the United States. This is one of our Club Membership benefits
