The Parade begins at 10 am winding its way around the town’s historic Plaza with around 60 entries. After the parade, enjoy an old-fashioned festival with food, drink, and game booths by Sonoma’s non-profit organizations.

One of the founding principles of the JLYC is to support Valley of the Moon nonprofits. The cornerstone of this effort is the annual Jack to Jack Yacht Race. Funds raised from all events are awarded via grant applications, open for submission from July - Sept.

Hometown celebration! The fair features a parade starting at 12:00 PM, live bands on a main stage and a second stage, food and beverages, craft and non-profit booths, and more. Look for the JLYC booth, with information and yachting swag.

Now that the applications have been submitted it is time to award the grants. Grant recipients will be acknowledged and funds will be distributed. Our celebration includes music, entertainment, fine wine, and laughter.

Each new yacht deserves a grand launch. About a week before Race Day we hold a christening party to hear tall tales on the why of naming and art of the sails. Held at the Jack London Saloon.

There is no better (local) yacht race, held on Sonoma Creek at the Jack London Saloon. A nautical extravaganza, all in good fun, with entertainment, and colorful commentary. Something for the whole family and free to attend.
