ThE JACK TO JACK YACHT RACE

Our signature event, the Jack to Jack Yacht Race (J2J), occurs every Spring on Sonoma Creek, when historically, the water level is at its highest. The event takes place in Glen Ellen, beginning at the Jack London Lodge, Creekside.  Using Jack London's SNARK as inspiration,  individual miniature yachts are personalized.  Depending on water level, dinghies may be substituted for yachts.  There are several heats during the day. Winners from each heat participate in the final race to determine the year's winner. Throughout the day there are a variety of activities; live music, food, wine, entertainment and auction. All proceeds from the yacht purchases and auction go towards supporting community grants.

Attendance is free to all.
